Its been a great summer! We did a 3 day ‘Project Hip-Hop meets Livin’ Vocally’ Summer school at WYP First Floor. 30 young people working hard on beatboxing, singing,  jamming and rapping for 3 fun packed days!

Craig Lees arranger for ‘Livin’ Vocally’ led some great choral pop mashups and formed a rock band. I took charge of the beatbox workshops and the rap workshop.We then brought all the elements together for a an epic finale piece!

The summer school culminated with a performance for friends and family on the final day. A great show, mixing original compositions, lyric writing, remixing a Disney song (!!!) and a live cover version of some contemporary hits. Great stuff! And the feedback was great! The level of talent keeps getting better and better.  Look out fr the next one!
